Member College Workshops
INTELECOM is offering an advisory service to member colleges. The advisory services are of two types: one session for administrators, fiscal personnel, and budgeting staff; the other session for faculty, technology personnel, and service staff. One of either session or the two separately on the same day can be scheduled to permit individuals to attend to satisfy particular interests.
Fiscal Realities
An interactive spreadsheet is used to present the actual costs and income of a peer college's and your college's distance education program. Since there are ambiguities in the calculations of distance learning FTES, and associated income and costs, the experts will address your questions and issues.
Academic and Technology Enhancements
This session demontrates how teleweb course create an academically sound, robust, and active learning situation while using both the telecourse content and the interactivity of the internet. Faculty from peer colleges will explain how they have made adjustments in teaching, influenced by economic and technological happenings.
