SoftChalk and INTELECOM Announce Video Distribution Agreement
Agreement Makes Curriculum-aligned Streamed Video Subscriptions Available Through SoftChalk
Pasadena, CA - INTELECOM Intelligent Telecommunications (INTELECOM), a non-profit producer of educational video for online learning, and SoftChalk LLC, a leading developer of authoring tools for e-learning, today announced a distribution agreement that will make video subscriptions for the INTELECOM Online Resources Network®, available for purchase through SoftChalk.
The distribution agreement follows the recent media search integration of the INTELECOM Online Resources Network® with award-winning SoftChalk authoring software. Using the Media Search tool in SoftChalk, faculty can conduct federated searches of various databases and repositories as they look for rich media to enhance their online courses and classroom presentations.
"We seek this distribution agreement as a natural extension of our partnership with SoftChalk," says Cameron Cox, Vice President for Marketing & Member Services of INTELECOM. "It also makes it easier for our customers to have access to a growing library of curriculum-aligned video."

Subscriptions to the INTELECOM Online Resources Network® allow institutions to easily search for and stream video in a range of core disciplines including Psychology, Sociology, History, Oceanography, Environmental Studies, Biological Sciences, and Developmental Math.
As part of the agreement INTELECOM and SoftChalk will also co-sponsor webinars to demonstrate effective use of SoftChalk, and how to integrate content from the INTELECOM Online Resources Network®.
